Get Quality Links Through Website Directory Submission.
Search engine optimization is getting more and more difficult by the day. The search engines are evolving at an incredible speed, making it harder for us SEOs to rank our websites highly. With that said, there are a few tried and true principles that we need to do when optimizing our website. The first of which, and the one that I always tell people to concentrate on is getting quality, 1 way links pointing to your website. The more quality links you can get pointing to your website, the higher you will rank, period. While there are many black hat tricks and tactics that you can do for short term gain, I would suggest NOT spending your time on those things. I would focus my entire effort on figuring out how to get other websites to link to yours without you linking back to them. That is the biggest key to ranking well in Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Doing this is easier said that done. One of the easiest known ways to get quality, one way links is by finding website directories and then submitting your website to them. This can be a very tedious process, but always a very rewarding process at the same time. You can either submit your website to these directories manually, pay someone to do it for you, OR you can use one of the website directory submission programs out there. The best program for the money that we've found is a program called "Directory Submitter" created my internet marketing expert, Brad Callen. This program allows you to submit your website to over 1600 website directories and can save you an incredible amount of time in doing so. You simply enter your website details into the software once, and then select the directory you would like to submit to. The software will then, automatically fill in all of the submission criteria for each directory and allow you to quickly submit your site. Not only does this save you time in submitting your site, but it saves you an incredible amount of time in just finding the free directories online. I highly suggest grabbing a directory submission program if you decide to take advantage of one of the easist ways to get quality, 1 way links to your website. How To Run Your Own Converting Internet Marketing Blog
If you have ever had the dream of becoming rich online, or wanted to start your own internet marketing blog, or website, then these are some of the things you will need to do in order to become successful.
There are many people who WANT to start something "profitable", but end up doing nothing good with their ideas. If you want to become successful and have visitors coming to your site from all over the internet then you need to start doing something.
A good and beginners way of starting a business online is by finding a market and start blogging about that topic, giving away free resources and interesting posts in a multitude of topics. This is a very popular approach and something you might want to use. There are people who run more than one blog, sometimes as much as 40 or 50 blogs.
This of course sounds like a very time consuming task, but in reality, it's really not. There are many ways to run a blog and have other people do the posting and maintenance. Many people who start blogging experince that their time spent writing is a lot more than they are earning and eventually stop.
This is because they don't know how to really drive traffic and make that traffic convert into sales and leads. You need to convert visitors into sales and leads if you want to make money. That's obvious.
Here are a few things you can do in order to increase sales, leads and revenue.
You can start by writing the sales copy or articles in a "you" oriented fashion. This means you are targeting a person with your text, including more "you", "your" and "yours" than "I", "me", "our", "mine" etc.
You must know before hand what the prospect is interested in. It's much easier to convert somebody who is "targeted", meaning someone you have specifically targeted with your search phrases and are preferably in a "buyer type" state of mind.
Targeting people who are primarialy out there to buy and giving people just enough information to tease the reader into wanting more is an artform and the best marketing tactic known to man. Many experience copywriters will tell you this.
* So, if you want to maintain a blog you want to increase conversion to motivate yourself to keep adding content.
* Add content regularly or have somebody write it for you.
* Keep content short, sweet and to the point, but informative.
* Tell people to comment, digg, stumpleupon, reddit and squidoo your posts.
* Have a sign-up box on your blog for people to get more information about the topic they are interested in.
This article spoke of how to increase conversions, add content and maintain a profitable blog.
